Personal Background
I was born in East Africa, where my parents, both physicians, were stationed with the
'Anders Army' division of the British army. At age four, my parents and I emigrated to the United Kingdom. I attended Bedales boarding school, completed my undergraduate and Master's degrees, and in 1972 emigrated to the U.S. I became a U.S. citizen in 1973-- retaining dual citizenship with the U.K.
Languages: English, some Polish, some French.
